The external coolers reduce the projector heat dissipation by 70%. This is especially useful when working with devices in hush boxes or installing multiple projectors in projection towers, making removing the heat hard. The cooler, controlled by the projector, ensures that the ambient temperature of the laser banks, and all other components within the light source are within spec which also improves the laser lifetimes.
