Description
This two-port transmitter/splitter allows you to split a DVI-D single-link signal and extend it to two monitors beyond the normal 16-ft. (4.88 m) DVI limitation using inexpensive Cat5/6 cabling. The B140-002 is recommended for video presentations in conference rooms, schools, trade shows, meeting facilities, houses of worship, retail settings and other digital signage applications where the source and display are farther apart than conventional A/V cables allow.
The B140-002 extends video from a DVI source device to two DVI displays up to 200-ft. (60.96 m) away via user-supplied Cat5/Cat6 cabling (such as Tripp Lite’s N202-Series 24 AWG cables, sold separately). Specifically, it can extend a 1024 x 768 (@ 60 Hz) resolution up to 200-ft. (60.96 m) and a 1920 x 1080 (@ 60 Hz) resolution up to 150-ft. (45.72 m) when used with an active remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1A0 or B140-1A0-WP, sold separately). When used with a passive remote unit (Tripp Lite B140-1P0, sold separately), it can extend a 1024 x 768 (@ 60 Hz) resolution up to 100-ft. (30.5 m) and a 1920 x 1080 (@ 60 Hz) resolution up to 50-ft. (15.24 m)
The B140-002 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
